SepticMate was developed by owner Jacob Ford, who runs a small family-owned business in southern Tasmania (Sustainable Wastewater Tas PTY LTD). Jacob has been in the plumbing industry for 17 years, having worked in various aspects of the field.

He started his company, Sustainable Wastewater Tas, two years ago with a passion for on-site wastewater management. Before launching his business, Jacob served as a plumbing inspector for a few local councils and understood the challenges associated with the ongoing servicing of AWTS systems.

That's why he developed SepticMate: to streamline his business. After many long hours of contemplation and app development, he decided it would be beneficial to showcase SepticMate to other companies, believing it could assist not only his business but others as well.
